Type of LED & Different Waterproof IP Grade

• Non-waterproof (IP20): Bare LED strip with self-adhesive backing, suitable for indoor and dry environments where water protection is not required.
• Waterproof IP65: Surface covered with protective gel coating and self-adhesive backing. Provides protection against water spray from different directions.
• Waterproof IP67: LED strip enclosed in a hollow silicone tube and sealed at both ends. Suitable for applications requiring additional moisture protection and short-term water exposure.
• Waterproof IP68: LED strip enclosed in U-shape silicone tube, covered with silicone gel, and sealed at both ends. Designed for applications requiring higher waterproof protection.

Installation Tips

• Always disconnect power before cutting, connecting, or installing UV & Violet LED Strips.
• Do not crimp, bend width-wise, or bend the LED strip below the recommended bending radius.
• Do not connect UV & Violet LED Strips directly to 120V AC power. Always use a compatible 5V USB power source or suitable power supply.
• Test LED strips before mounting to confirm lighting performance and connection stability.
• Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and free from dust before using the adhesive backing.
• Avoid excessive bending or pulling during installation to prevent damage to the flexible PCB.

How to Power / Control the Strip

• Use a compatible 5V USB power source, portable charger, or included battery box to power the UV & Violet LED Strips.
• When using an external power source, ensure the output voltage matches the LED strip requirements.
• Avoid exceeding the recommended power capacity to maintain stable operation and extend product lifespan.
